The client acknowledges that K8’s Petcare sometimes allows dogs to play and interact directly with one another off-leash. The client further acknowledges that due to this, injuries to pets may occur. The client agrees that K8’s Petcare will not be held liable for any injury or illness to your pet, and expressly waives any and all claims against K8’s Petcare, or its employees for any loss, injury or illness to their pet or their property while in the care of K8’s Petcare or any of the company’s staff. K8’s Petcare agrees to provide services in a reliable, safe, sanitary and trustworthy manner.

Dogs are always walked on-leash, unless in a safe and enclosed dog park and only with the client’s pre-approval. K8’s Petcare likes to get to know the pet/s before allowing them off-leash in an enclosed dog park and will discuss this with the client.

The client agrees to express any known behavioural/aggression problems that their pet has with other animals, toys, food or humans. The client is solely responsible for any harm or injury caused by their pet while in the care of K8’s Petcare.

The client understands that all pets accepted must be in good general health. Veterinarian information and proof of all required vaccinations must be provided to K8’s Petcare upon request during the initial Meet and Greet and immediately upon changes. Pets must be on a flea and tick prevention program whilst in our care. Under no circumstances will K8’s Petcare, or its employees, be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, Injury, Death, Loss or Damages of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal while in the care of K8’s Petcare.

The client agrees to ensure that the pet’s microchip is up to date and that the local laws where the client resides are abided by.

Should any pet become ill or injured while with K8’s Petcare, we reserve the right to administer necessary aid, and if necessary, transport the pet to a vet. Any expenses incurred are the responsibility of the client. K8’s Petcare will attempt to contact the pet’s regular vet but reserves the right to transport the pet to another if necessary.

K8’s Petcare accepts no responsibility for any pet which escapes after we have left it in a fenced area.

K8’s Petcare has a duty of care to the client’s pet to report any serious concerns, abuse or mistreatment to relevant establishments ie: RSPCA, local council, breeding associations and the police.

The client agrees to pay the invoiced amount within seven days of the agreed Service conclusion. If the invoiced amount is not paid within 7 days of Service conclusion, K8’s Petcare reserves the right to stop bookings services for the client until the invoiced Amount is paid or an agreement is made.

If an agreed service is over 7 days long, the client agrees to pay 50% of the agreed service invoice before commencement.

Cancellation within 24 hours of booking, inability to gain access to, or absence of the pet on arrival will be charged full price of the agreed service cost.

A full Refund is only provided on request if no pets are remaining in the household. Any excess funds will become Credit and can be used on any Service and is transferrable between pets of the same household.

K8’s Petcare will cancel all communications with the client if they are aggressive or abusive to any of K8’s Petcare staff. If the client have credit with K8’s Petcare it will be forfeited. If a Service is booked and has begun K8’s Petcare will complete the agreed service as it is not the pet/s fault.

K8’s Petcare holds a Current Public Liability Policy and Personal Indemnity Policy.

Our staff are equipped for wet weather walking. However alternate arrangements can be made if it is unsafe to walk or the client have advised us that they don’t want us to walk their pet in wet weather or certain temperatures.

By booking a service with K8’s Petcare the client agrees to the above Service Agreement. The client agrees that they completely understand and agree to the terms and conditions provided.
